Art That Stands
With Children

This October is Cancer Awareness Month, and Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is launching their official appeal to raise critical funds for their pediatric cancer ward. AHC is one of the only hospitals in Cambodia providing free, comprehensive cancer care for children. Every year, it costs nearly US$490,000 to keep this life-saving service running.

I, Shunsuke Miyatake, as a cancer survivor myself, I know how hard the fight can be, physically, emotionally, and financially. If it was tough for me as an adult, imagine what it feels like for a child, and for their family. That’s why I started ART4HOPE: to stand in solidarity with these kids and families, and to support AHC through the power of art.

We are calling on artists and photographers from around the world to share artworks under the theme: “POWER OF HOPE.” Together, we’ll build a digital gallery where all submissions will be displayed and celebrated. All works will be available to buy online at affordable prices, and printed with our partner printing house LPC. Except for printing costs, all proceeds will go directly to AHC to help children fighting cancer.

So let’s do this together. Me alone, can’t do anything, but with friends and people who care the people in need, we can do it.
Let’s spread hope through art all together.
