Josh Lowry

His connection to this cause began long before he picked up a camera, through a decade spent volunteering with children battling cancer in New Zealand, where he is originally from. It was only after moving to live and work in Cambodia and falling deeply in love with the country, that he discovered his passion for capturing stories through a lens. Though he’s now based in Africa, he return to Cambodia as often as he can, and still consider it his home. He strongly believe in the power of photography to freeze moments of profound hope, and he is honored to contribute his work in support of the children at Angkor Hospital. Title: 01 / A Wish on the Wind
Description: The act of blowing a dandelion is a universal symbol of optimism and a belief in future possibilities. This image captures that pure, simple moment of childhood faith - the belief that we have the power to send our dreams out into the world and watch them grow.

Title: 02 / One Small Light
Description: For a child battling cancer, hope can be as simple as a flame in the dark - a single act of kindness. Though each flame may be small, when combined they create a glow that no darkness can overcome.
